Eid-ul-Fitr 2024: Eid Celebrations in Full Swing Across the Country, Massive Gathering of Namazis at Delhi’s Jama Masjid

Eid-ul-Fitr 2024: Eid festival, a symbol of unity and brotherhood, is being celebrated across the country. People are offering prayers in mosques. They are also hugging each other and congratulating each other. President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have wished the countrymen a Happy Eid.

Eid-ul-Fitr 2024: The festival of Eid is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country on Thursday. Muslim brothers and sisters across the country are celebrating this festival, which is an example of brotherhood and unity, with great enthusiasm and joy. On the occasion of Eid, people in different parts of the country are going to mosques and offering prayers. On this occasion, a huge crowd of people gathered at Jama Masjid in Delhi. People were seen hugging each other and wishing each other Eid. Enthusiasm for this festival is being seen in everyone from common people to the elite.

Eid is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in various parts of the country. From Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal and other states, the festival is being celebrated with great fervour. Former Union Minister and BJP veteran Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi offered Eid prayers at Panja Sharif Dargah in Kashmiri Gate, Delhi on the auspicious occasion of Eid. Many devotees were present there on this special occasion.

President gave Eid greetings

Earlier, President Draupadi Murmu greeted the citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Murmu said, ‘This festival, which promotes unity and harmony, also teaches us to forgive and give charity. Eid is an opportunity to help the poor and the destitute and share happiness with them. This festival inspires us to live a peaceful life and work for the happiness and prosperity of the society.’ The President further said in his message, ‘Let us spread the human ideals of love, compassion and charity on the holy festival of Eid.’

PM Modi gave this special message on Eid

PM Narendra Modi posted on Instagram and wished Eid Mubarak. He said, “Heartiest greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this occasion further spread the spirit of compassion, solidarity and peace. May everyone be happy and healthy. Eid Mubarak.”

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi wished the countrymen Eid Mubarak on the eve of Eid. He tweeted on Christmas and wrote, Eid Mubarak to all of you. May the spirit of unity and generosity bring happiness and prosperity to all.

From Delhi to Mumbai, the celebration in full swing

2912 places marked sensitive in Lucknow

Eid prayers will be offered in 37,018 Eidgahs and mosques in Uttar Pradesh (UP). However, 2912 sensitive places have been identified for Eid and sector scheme has been implemented at such places. 241 companies of PAC force, eight companies of SDRF and 229 companies of CAPF have been deployed to conduct Eid prayers successfully. Drone cameras will be used to monitor the places of prayers.

Eid celebrated in Jammu and Kashmir

Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with traditional fervour and gaiety across Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. A large number of pilgrims gathered at the Hazratbal shrine on the banks of Dal Lake in Kashmir. Former chief ministers of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti were among those who offered prayers at the mosque.

On the occasion of Sarhul and Eid in Ranchi, CCTV cameras and drones are being monitored

Two major festivals of Sarhul and Eid-ul-Fitr in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi will be monitored with CCTV cameras and drones and personnel equipped with video cameras will be deployed. An official gave this information on Wednesday. Sarhul and Eid-ul-Fitr, an important tribal festival in the state, will be celebrated on the same day on Thursday.

Acting on the instructions of Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rahul Sinha, a team of administration and municipal corporation assessed various areas to ensure preparations for the festivals. Ranchi Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Rajeshwar Nath Alok said that the district administration has taken extensive security measures to ensure peaceful conduct of both the festivals.

He said, “Adequate security personnel and magistrates have been deployed at important places. To keep an eye on the crowd during the procession, CCTV cameras have been installed at various places. Drones will also be used to keep an eye on anti-social elements and personnel with video cameras are also being deployed. “

The festival of Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated in India tomorrow i.e. on 11th April. On the day of Eid, all elders give Eidi to children. Children get clothes, toys and money as Eidi. At the same time, Zakat is also a duty in Islam. Zakat is distributed among the poor. People of the Muslim community give a part of their income as Zakat, which is distributed among the poor and needy people on Eid.
