Hyderabad Lok Sabha Seat: The Lok Sabha election 2024 in Hyderabad, Telangana seems to be different this time. Asaduddin Owaisi, who always appeared against the Congress, used to attack Rahul Gandhi and called CM Revanth Reddy an agent of the RSS, the same AIMIM chief’s tone is now being heard changing. This time the chemistry between the two has changed. Both are going to Iftar Parties together. They are feeding sweets to each other. They are also praising each other.
In politics, relationships are determined by opportunity and need. There is no permanent friend, no permanent enemy. It has not been even 6 months since the assembly elections were held in Telangana. At that time, Owaisi, who was with KCR’s party BRS, was selectively attacking Congress.
Now Owaisi has changed his heart. The reason behind this is the electoral mathematics of Hyderabad. Which has been completely changed by BJP. Now Owaisi and Congress have started appearing close to each other. Now both are singing praises of each other. They are talking about moving forward hand in hand.

‘Even I could not defeat AIMIM’
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, while singing praises of Asaduddin, said, “With your help, Owaisi and his MLAs are winning from here. Even I could not defeat them. After the elections were over, we thought that Hyderabad has to be developed, so we tried to take AIMIM along with us.”
‘Congress will get full support’
At the same time, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi, while talking about supporting Congress, said, “Ganga Jamuni Tehjeev will become stronger in Telangana. You will get full support from our party. We have to protect against those who spread hatred.”
Does Asaduddin Owaisi have the key to Hyderabad fort?
Although Congress won the last assembly elections, the key to the political fort of Hyderabad has been with the Owaisi family for the last forty years. Owaisi is contesting from there but this time the picture seems to have changed. The occasion was Iftar. Where Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy both opened the doors of their hearts for each other.
Why did Congress and Owaisi change their strategy?
The reason behind the change of heart of Congress and AIMIM, who have been staunch opponents of each other in politics, is the Hyderabad seat. From where Owaisi was sure of his victory for the fifth time, but BJP spoiled the game by fielding its firebrand leader Madhavi Lata. After this, the strategy of Congress and Owaisi started changing. Congress was preparing to give ticket to Mohammad Feroz Khan from Hyderabad seat but it is said that the announcement was stopped at the last moment.
It is being said that if Mohammad Feroz is given a ticket, the Muslim vote may get divided between Congress and AIMIM. If this happens, BJP will benefit, which neither Congress nor Asaduddin Owaisi wants. There has been no official announcement of an alliance between Congress and Owaisi, but Congress’s Feroz is in danger of losing his ticket. Feroz is angry with Congress and AIMIM, so BJP has also intensified its attacks against both of them.
BJP candidate Madhavi Latha said, “We expect both parties to field separate candidates and the election should be held among the three candidates. You have a government here yet you are making an unofficial alliance with AIMIM. AIMIM wants to use the power of Congress for votes in an unauthorized and illegal manner. We will not let this happen. This is my answer to both parties AIMIM and Congress.”
‘People should give a befitting reply to Congress and Owaisi’
Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy said, “Today, the Congress party has decided against Owaisi that it will support him and make him win. I appeal to the people to give them a befitting reply by making BJP win in the upcoming elections. When BRS was in power, Majlis was with them and today, the Congress party has decided against Owaisi that it will support him and make him win. I would like to tell the people of Hyderabad that the DNA of BRS, Congress and Owaisi’s party is the same. All three work together against Hindus.”
