Shocking Claim: Aravalli Crack Turns Active, More Earthquakes Ahead!
According to Dr. Rajendra Singh Rathore, a geographer, there is a fault line (crack) to the east of the Aravalli mountain range. This fault line passes through the eastern coast of Rajasthan and meets Dharamshala. It includes Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur areas of Rajasthan.
Experts say that the cracks in the Aravalli mountain have started to move. Now such earthquakes will keep coming in Jaipur and other adjoining areas. Jaipur falls in Zone-2 and Western Rajasthan falls in Zone-3. Normal earthquakes occur here.
Why do Earthquakes occur?
The surface of our earth is mainly made up of 7 large and many small tectonic plates. These plates keep floating continuously and sometimes collide with each other. Due to collision, sometimes the corners of the plates get bent and due to excessive pressure these plates start breaking. In such a situation, the energy coming out from below finds a way to come out and after this disturbance an earthquake occurs.
Earthquake on Richter scale
Richter Scale | Effect |
---|---|
0 to 1.9 | Detectable only by seismograph. |
2 to 2.9 | Slight tremor. |
3 to 3.9 | Feels like the vibration caused by a truck passing nearby. |
4 to 4.9 | Windows may break. Wall-mounted frames may fall. |
5 to 5.9 | Heavy objects, such as furniture, may move. |
6 to 6.9 | Can damage the foundation of buildings. Upper floors may suffer damage. |
7 to 7.9 | Buildings collapse. Ground may crack open. |
8 to 8.9 | Buildings and bridges collapse entirely. |
9 or more | Complete destruction. If near an ocean, may trigger destructive tsunamis. |
Note: Each level on the Richter scale is 10 times more powerful than the previous one.
Nepal government confirmed
According to the Nepal government, it has been confirmed that the epicenter of the earthquake felt in Nepal this morning was Ding Kanti in Tibet, on the Nepal-China border. According to the Geological Department of the Nepal government, the intensity of the earthquake in that area was measured at 7 on the Richter scale. Most parts of Nepal were shaken by the earthquake that occurred at 6:35 am. This has caused a major shock to the Tibet region as well as the eastern and central regions of Nepal.

Don’t do this work even by mistake in case of earthquake?
1. If you live in a high-rise building, do not take the lift to go down. Stay in the house until the earthquake stops. Running away in a hurry can cause an accident.
2. In case of an earthquake, do not stand near the doors or windows of the house even by mistake. Especially stay away from glass windows and doors. There is always a danger of them breaking.
3. When the tremors of the earthquake stop, do not open the windows and doors of the house without delay. Sometimes these crack due to the tremors, which is not noticed.
4. People trapped in an earthquake should not operate any electrical appliances in the house. Do not keep switching the switchboard on and off.
