Elections 2024: BJP Releases 5th List of 111 Candidates, Kangana Ranaut Gets Ticket, Varun Gandhi’s Candidature Cancelled

Elections 2024: Bharatiya Janata Party- BJP has today released its fifth list of 111 candidates for Lok Sabha seats. Before the release of the list, many prominent leaders had joined BJP today. Among them, Naveen Jindal, who was a two-time MP from Congress, is prominent. BJP has made Naveen Jindal its candidate from Kurukshetra.

Elections 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party has released the fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. In this list, Arun Govil, who played the role of Lord Ram in the serial Ramayan, has been given a ticket from Meerut. Naveen Jindal has been given a ticket from Kurukshetra in Haryana. Jitin Prasad has been made the candidate by cutting Varun Gandhi’s ticket from Pilibhit. This list has been released after a long discussion in the BJP Central Election Committee meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday. Many prominent leaders including BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Singh were present in this meeting.

BJP has announced the names of 111 candidates in the list released today. This includes 6 candidates from Andhra Pradesh and 17 from Bihar. 6 from Gujarat, 4 from Haryana, 2 from Himachal Pradesh, 3 from Jharkhand, 4 from Karnataka, 4 from Kerala, 3 from Maharashtra, 18 from Odisha, 7 from Rajasthan, 2 from Telangana, 13 from Uttar Pradesh, 19 from West Bengal, 1 each from Sikkim, Mizoram and Goa.

New faces got a chance in Uttar Pradesh

In its fifth list, BJP has given a chance to new faces by cutting the tickets of many current MPs. In this, Ghaziabad MP VK Singh has been given a chance by not giving him a ticket and Atul Garg has been given a chance. Current MP Maneka Gandhi has been given a ticket again from Sultanpur. Arun Govil, who played the role of Ram in the famous serial Ramayana, has been given a ticket from Meerut Lok Sabha seat. Currently, Rajendra Agarwal is the MP from here. Satish Gautam has been given a ticket from Aligarh Lok Sabha seat. Raghav Lakhanpal from Saharanpur Lok Sabha seat, Sarvesh Singh from Moradabad, Anoop Valmiki from Hathras Lok Sabha seat, Durvijay Singh Shakya from Badaun, Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar from Bareilly, Ramesh Awasthi from Kanpur, Rajrani Rawat from Barabanki and Dr. Arvind Gaur from Bahraich Lok Sabha seat are included in the list.

Rajasthan Lok Sabha seat

BJP announced 7 candidates in Rajasthan. These include Mahima Vishweshwar Singh from Rajsamand Lok Sabha seat, Bhagirath Chaudhary from Ajmer, Sukhbir Singh Jaunpuria from Tonk-Sawai Madhopur seat, Manju Sharma from Jaipur seat, Rao Rajendra Singh from Jaipur Rural, Shubkaran Chaudhary from Jhunjhunu seat and Priyanka Balan from Ganganagar Lok Sabha seat.

BJP candidates from Bihar

Talking about Bihar, the BJP has made Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal its candidate from West Champaran. Radha Mohan Singh from East Champaran seat, Ashok Kumar Yadav from Madhubani, Pradeep Kumar Singh from Araria Lok Sabha seat, Gopalji Thakur from Darbhanga, Raj Bhushan Nishad from Muzaffarpur seat, Janardan Singh Sigriwal from Maharajganj Lok Sabha seat, Rajiv Pratap Rudy from Saran, Nityanand Rai from Ujiarpur, Giriraj Singh from Begusarai seat, Ravi Shankar Prasad from Patna Sahib, Ramkripal Yadav from Pataliputra, RK Singh from Ara, Mithilesh Tiwari from Bakkar seat, Shivesh Ram from Sasaram, Sushil Kumar Singh from Aurangabad and Vivek Thakur from Nawada Lok Sabha seat have been made the BJP candidates.

Names of candidates from Haryana

BJP today announced the names of 4 candidates from Haryana. These include Naveen Jindal from Kurukshetra, Ranjit Chautala from Hisar, Mohan Lal Badoli from Sonipat and Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma from Rohtak.

These people got tickets from Andhra Pradesh

In this list of BJP, they have declared their candidates on 6 seats of Andhra Pradesh. These include Kothapalli Geeta from Araku, CM Ramesh from Anakapalli seat, D. Purandeswari from Rajahmundry Lok Sabha seat, Bupathiraju Srinivas Verma from Narasapuram, Varaprasad Rao from Tirupati and N. Kiran Kumar Reddy from Rajampet seat. Varaprasad Rao had taken membership of BJP today.

BJP had announced the names of 15 candidates from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in its fourth list released on March 22. There were 14 candidates from Tamil Nadu in this. Voting for the 39 Lok Sabha seats of Tamil Nadu will be held on April 19 in the first phase. In the last elections, BJP did not get a single seat from Tamil Nadu. BJP first released its first list on March 8.
