Adi Shankaracharya Biography
Shankar Acharya was born in 788 AD in Kerala or ‘Kashal’ Was born in a village named. His father’s name was Shivguru Bhatt, mother’s name was Ayamba. Then one day a crocodile caught hold of Shankaracharyaji’s leg on the river bank, then taking advantage of this time Shankaracharyaji said to his mother ” Mother, please allow me to become a Sanyasi, otherwise the crocodile will eat me “, being frightened by this, the Mother immediately ordered him to become a Sanyasi; And surprisingly, as soon as the mother ordered, the crocodile immediately left Shankaracharya’s leg. And he took sannyasa from Govind Nath.
First he stayed in Kashi for a few days, and then he married Mandan Mishra in the Talvan of Vigilbindu. 3>Defeated in debate.
