Monsoon 2024 Alert: People in various states of the country including the capital Delhi are suffering from scorching heat. The Meteorological Department has predicted a severe heat wave in some areas of UP, Haryana, Punjab, Jharkhand and Delhi till June 16. Talking about the capital Delhi, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heat wave till June 18. However, monsoon has knocked in many states of the South West.

Before this, monsoon had arrived in Kerala and many states of the Northeast by 30th May. The first monsoon rain has already occurred in many areas of Kottayam district of Kerala. It is being said that this is the fourth time in the last 10 years that monsoon has arrived before time. Not only in Kerala but also in Maharashtra, monsoon arrived before time and last Sunday there was heavy rain in Mumbai.
Monsoon arrived here before time
After Maharashtra, monsoon has reached Gujarat as well. On June 11, the first monsoon rains occurred in Navsari and Valsad in South Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the southern parts of the state for the next 5 days. Like other states, monsoon has entered Gujarat ahead of time. However, it may take a week for the monsoon to reach the entire state.
Monsoon will reach Madhya Pradesh on this day
If we talk about Madhya Pradesh, people here will have to wait for at least a week for the monsoon. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the monsoon may arrive by June 20. The effect of monsoon can be seen in the entire state by June 25.
There is no effect of monsoon in these states
Talking about the north-eastern states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh, people were expecting that the monsoon would enter the state on time, but this time the Bay of Bengal branch is not that strong for the second consecutive year, as a result of which the monsoon has not shown even a slight effect in these states yet.
Let us tell you that there are two branches of monsoon in India, in which the first is the Bay of Bengal and the second is the Arabian Sea and the Arabian Sea is moving strongly towards Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the monsoon is expected to reach Bihar and Jharkhand by 16 to 18 June, Uttar Pradesh by 20 to 30 June and Delhi by 27 June.
Heat wave alert in Delhi
The Meteorological Department has expressed hope that monsoon will reach Delhi NCR by June 29, but the Meteorological Department has also said on Wednesday that hot winds will continue in Delhi for the next 7 days.
Rain forecast in these 12 states
On the other hand, monsoon will start in the western states of Rajasthan and Uttarakhand only after June 25. Monsoon rains may occur in Kashmir only after June 25. The Meteorological Department has informed that there may be rain in 12 states including Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim for the next three days.
