IMD Weather Update:Â Â There seems to be relief from the heat in many parts of the country in the last few days. Since the beginning of March, continuous fluctuations in temperature are being seen. The mercury has fallen due to rain and strong storm in the plains along with snowfall and hail in the hilly areas.
Light rain occurred in many parts of Delhi-NCR late night on March 3. Along with this, hailstorm also fell in some areas along with strong winds. Due to this the morning temperature fell in Delhi. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain and strong thunderstorm for Delhi in the coming two to three days. During this period, strong winds can also blow at a speed of 30-40 km.
Alert of strong storm in UP-Bihar-Madhya Pradesh

According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department, heavy rain and snowfall is likely to continue in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on March 4. Along with this, storm and hailstorm has also been predicted in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Sikkim. There is a possibility of reduction from March 5.
There is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall at different places in Arunachal Pradesh on March 4. Heavy to very heavy rain or snowfall has been predicted in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. At the same time, there is a possibility of snowfall along with rain in Himachal Pradesh also.
Rain will provide relief in these states

Winds may blow at high speed along with rain in many parts of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. Strong storms have also been predicted in these states. Similarly, there is a possibility of moderate rain along with strong thunderstorm in some areas of Madhya Pradesh. Rain or hail is expected in some parts of Bihar and Jharkhand.
Talking about the states of South India, the temperature will continue to rise in Odisha. There doesn’t seem to be any relief from this. There is no possibility of mercury falling in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Actually, there is no forecast of rain in these states. Due to this, heatwave like conditions seem to be developing.
