The 48th foundation day of Mahamana Malviya Mission was celebrated at Malviya Smriti Bhawan, DDU Marg, New Delhi, on Saturday under the vibrant leadership of Hari Shankar Singh (National President of MMM) & Dr VP Singh (Secretary General of MMM).
On 9th April, 1978, Mahamana Malviya Mission was created by a BHU alumnus on the direction of Bhau Rao Devras (then deputy of RSS) and Ashok Singhal (Chief of Vishwa Hindu Parishad), just to propagate the ideas and culture of Bharat Ratna Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya ji to next generation of India.
Nithishwer Kumar (Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child development, Govt. of India) was the Chief Guest of the function and he talked about various dimension in the personality of Bharat Ratna Malviya, including his contributions in freedom movement of India. In the presidential speech, Hari Shankar Singh, told the audience about the history of creation of the Mahamana Malviya Mission and Dr V P Singh too addressed the august audience and told that how the Mahamana Malviya was able to help the freedom fighters of Chouri Chopra Kand as an advocate, particularly when none of the advocate was ready to fight this case.
Further, he also talked about the role Malviya Pune Pact. A welcome speech was delivered by Animesh Sexena (President of Delhi branch of MMM) and Anchoring was Archna Gupta. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. CB Tripathi, former president of the Indraprastha branch of MMM. In his deliberation, Dr Tripathi proposed to constitute a committee of senior members of MMM for the creation vision documents and roadmap of MMM for next 10 years. Govind Ram, a senior member and chief editor of MMM quarterly magazine was also addressed the audience and magazine was unfolded by dignitaries on Dais during the function.
