Rajasthan News: Giving a new direction to urban development in the state, the Bhajanlal Sharma government of Rajasthan made a major announcement early Monday morning, July 6. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the eminent educationist, staunch nationalist thinker, and founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma took the historic decision to rename major public parks in the state’s four largest and most significant cities—Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Udaipur—after Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee. A key aspect of this decision is that not only will the names of these four parks be changed, but grand memorials dedicated to his life and his contributions to nation-building will also be constructed to inspire the local public, especially the younger generation.
