She achieved remarkable success in the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination, securing the 157th rank. With this proud achievement, she has been selected for the post of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO). Akanksha’s success has not only filled her family with pride but has also sparked a wave of joy across the entire Nalanda district and her village.
Realizing Her Teacher-Father’s Dream
Akanksha Bharti hails from Hanumangarh village in the Chandi block of Nalanda district. Her father, Anandi Prasad Chaudhary, is a teacher by profession. Understanding the immense value of education, he spared no effort in supporting his daughter’s studies. Despite facing financial and social challenges, he consistently encouraged Akanksha. Today, the result of that sacrifice and proper guidance is that his daughter is set to join the administrative service.
Early and Higher Education in Patna
Speaking about her educational background, Akanksha mentioned that she received her early education at Keshav Vidya Mandir in Patna. She subsequently pursued her higher education at Patna Women’s College, where she completed her graduation. She had been inclined towards administrative services since her college days. After completing her graduation, she began preparing for the BPSC exam with great dedication.

Following Akanksha’s historic success, a festive atmosphere prevails in Hanumangarh village. Villagers and relatives are visiting her home to offer congratulations and wish her a bright future. Locals say that Akanksha has brought glory to the entire region. The villagers said with immense pride, “A daughter of our village is now set to assume a high-ranking administrative position. We are fully confident that, while working within the system, she will go above and beyond to help the poor, the helpless, and the needy—those who are in greatest need of justice and assistance.”
