New Delhi: A recent video featuring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan—often referred to as ‘Dabangg Khan’—has left fans surprised and concerned. Seeing Salman in a very simple avatar sparked worries about his health, with many inquiring whether ‘Bhaijaan’ was doing alright. Salman had visited the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) office in Mumbai on Friday (July 17) to inaugurate the organization’s state-of-the-art data collection and verification support center. Videos from the event circulating on social media left people astonished; notably, Salman was almost unrecognizable in his latest look, sporting a rugged, clean-shaven appearance and wearing a light olive-green or beige shirt. Many fans reacted to his new look on X (formerly Twitter). One fan wrote, “Salman Khan’s latest video. Time waits for no one, and he should stop casting himself in ‘hero’ roles now.”
Another commented, “What happened to Salman Khan?? At first, I didn’t think it was him, but then I saw Shera there too. He is aging just like Dharmendra.” A worried fan tweeted, “Is everything okay with Salman Khan and his health?” Following the event, Salman was seen joking with reporters, telling them not to ask him about ‘Matrubhumi’ (Motherland).
As he prepared to speak to the media after the function, Salman engaged with them in his signature style. Smiling at the press, he jokingly said, “Ask me anything, except that one question. There is no point in asking about that.” Salman expressed satisfaction with the SRA’s work and inquired about the organization’s various activities during his visit. He also handed over keys to permanent homes to more than fifty people in the presence of SRA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mahendra Kalyankar.
