Protests regarding the NEET paper leak issue are ongoing at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Over the past few days, reports of violence during the protests have emerged, resulting in injuries to a large number of police personnel. On Wednesday night, police personnel were attacked again, leaving several injured, including two ACPs and two inspectors. In light of these reports of violence, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has initiated security measures. The DMRC has announced that 16 Delhi Metro stations will remain closed on Thursday until further notice.
Which metro stations will remain closed?
It is worth noting that 16 Delhi Metro stations were also closed on Wednesday; the DMRC had cited security reasons for that move. Now, the DMRC has stated that the metro stations listed below will remain closed from 7:30 AM on Thursday until further notice. However, interchange facilities will remain available at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat.
