Russia-Ukraine War: Russia has once again shaken Ukraine. On Thursday, Russia launched attacks using deadly missiles on several areas, including the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. The Air Force reported that multiple waves of cruise missiles were launched from Russian aircraft. Following the initial wave of attacks, the Ukrainian Air Force warned that more ballistic missiles were heading towards Kyiv. The Mayor of Kyiv stated that the threat of further attacks remains and urged people to stay in shelters. Recently, Russian President Putin justified the ongoing military campaign in Ukraine, asserting that Russia would achieve all its objectives.
What did Zelenskyy say?
In a tweet posted prior to the Russian attack, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy stated: “Air Force Commander Anatoliy Kryvonozhko has submitted a report to me. Russia had been preparing for a major attack for some days. There is a very high probability that this attack will take place tonight. It is crucial that our allies fully understand the situation; saving lives depends directly on their willingness to assist us with air defense missiles.” First and foremost, this applies to the United States and those allies who possess Patriot missiles and can provide them for our defense.
