Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayanam has been the talk of the town since the release of its trailer. The film is set for a worldwide release during Diwali. People have been sharing their reviews after watching the trailer, and it is garnering significant viewership in Pakistan as well. Pakistani audiences are also sharing their reactions to the Ramayanam trailer. Notably, the trailer—based on the story of Lord Ram—is being widely appreciated in Pakistan.
‘Ramayanam’ Takes Pakistan by Storm
Pakistani content creator and YouTuber Mavia Umar Farooqi shared his reaction to the trailer on Instagram. In his video, he remarked, “As a Pakistani viewer, I’d say the Ramayanam trailer is out, and one wonders where India and Bollywood are getting so much money from. Just think about it—the film has a budget of ₹1,000 crore, and the massive scale of its production is clearly visible. The VFX are incredibly expensive; they’ve even brought in Hollywood experts for it. While this represents Indian cinema and the history of Hinduism, speaking as a Pakistani, I have to say—I’m excited after watching the trailer.”
High Praise for the Trailer
Mavia Umar Farooqi praised both Yash and Ranbir Kapoor, particularly highlighting their entry scenes in the trailer. He added, “I don’t think a film with a ₹1,000 crore budget has ever been made in Indian history—one that spans two blockbuster-level films. It really shows; the camera work is impressive, and the trailer is incredibly deep. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in terms of acting—Ranbir Kapoor or Yash.” However, several Instagram users corrected him in the comments, pointing out that the film’s reported budget is ₹4,000 crore, not ₹1,000 crore.
Ravana Steals the Spotlight
Another Pakistani YouTuber, Hasnat Khan, also praised the Ramayanam trailer. Reacting to the visuals, he said, “Raavan looks absolutely amazing, man. What a fantastic trailer. They have done a great job with the animation, CGI, and stunts. All the visuals are excellent.” He appeared deeply impressed by the trailer, repeatedly exclaiming “Wow” during various action and fight sequences.
Stunning Entry for Sita
Another Pakistani YouTuber, ‘Pakistani Reaction Boy’, remarked, “The entries of Raavan and Ranbir Kapoor were spectacular. Sita’s entry was truly amazing; she looked absolutely divine. We are going to see elements in Ramayanam that we haven’t witnessed before. Yash’s look was fantastic. The trailer was brilliant.” Another Pakistani YouTube channel, ‘Iman Moazzam Entertainment’, commented, “Sai Pallavi looks stunning in the role of Sita. Her simplicity and traditional look are clearly evident. Overall, the VFX and music are excellent.”
