The Department of Posts has announced recruitment for the post of Staff Car Driver within the Mail Motor Service (MMS). This recruitment drive is being conducted by the Department of Posts, Bengaluru. According to the official notification, 10 Staff Car Driver positions are to be filled for the Mail Motor Service in Bengaluru, while one position is for the Mysuru Sub-Depot. Interested candidates may apply via the offline mode. Candidates must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board and possess a valid driving license for both light and heavy motor vehicles. Additionally, they are required to have at least three years of driving experience.
Age Limit
As per the notification, the maximum age limit for applicants is 56 years. Personnel from the Armed Forces who are due for retirement or are set to be transferred to the reserve within one year are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the requisite criteria.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission. They will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200, along with other applicable government allowances.
Candidates must submit their applications offline using the prescribed format provided in the official notification. Along with the application, self-attested copies of educational certificates, the driving license, the appointment letter, and other necessary documents must be sent to the address specified below.
This recruitment is exclusively for existing Central Government employees. Priority will be given to eligible employees of the Department of Posts, including Dispatch Riders and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). If suitable candidates are not found within the department, appointments will be made from other Central Government departments.
