South East Central Railway announced the operation of additional trips for the Babadham-bound train on social media. The post states that the Shravani Mela Special train service has been extended.
According to the railways, the Itwari-Madhupur Shravani Mela Special train (Train No. 08895/08896) will run for four additional trips. The train will depart from Itwari on August 18 and 25, and from Madhupur on August 19 and 26. Operating with 20 coaches, this special train will offer pilgrims better amenities and the benefit of additional seating capacity.
Train timings and seat details
Train No. 08895 (Shravani Mela Special) will depart from Itwari at 4:30 AM on August 18 and 25. Meanwhile, Train No. 08896 (Special) will make its return journey from Madhupur at 9:00 AM on August 19 and 26.
A total of 20 coaches have been attached to the train for the convenience of pilgrims. These include 2 SLR/D coaches, 4 sleeper coaches, 4 general coaches, and 10 second-class coaches, ensuring ample seating availability for passengers.
