A major administrative reshuffle has been carried out within Rajasthan’s Education Department. The department has released a list detailing the transfers and postings of officials at the levels of Joint Director (JD), Deputy Director (DD), Chief District Education Officer (CDEO), and District Education Officer (DEO). Following these orders, new officers will take charge of the Education Department in several districts.
New Responsibilities Assigned to Officers
According to the transfer orders, Anusuya has been appointed as Joint Director (Churu) and Sangeeta Manvi as Joint Director (Bharatpur). Meanwhile, Arun Kumar has been assigned the role of CDEO (Bikaner), and Premchand Amera has been appointed as CDEO (Ajmer). Mahendra Kumar Sharma has been posted to the Directorate of Secondary Education in Bikaner.
Changes at the DEO Level Across Districts
The new list also includes reshuffles regarding the postings of District Education Officers (DEOs). Officers have been instructed to assume charge at their new locations in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
Responsibilities Ranging from School Monitoring to Scheme Implementation
Following the transfers, the new officers will oversee responsibilities such as monitoring schools in their respective areas, implementing educational schemes, managing departmental operations, and handling administrative matters related to teachers. These postings are viewed as a significant step towards improving the administrative framework of the Education Department.
