Apart from KBC, Amitabh Bachchan earns a substantial income from brands and films every year. Even at the age of 83, he does not shy away from hard work. However, he is now set to earn a handsome ₹33 lakh per month while sitting at home, without any active effort. Amitabh Bachchan has leased three floors of a commercial property he owns in the Andheri West area of Mumbai to the nutrition brand Trunativ F&B Pvt. Ltd. According to Zapkey, a website that tracks property registration documents, the deal has been struck at a monthly rent of ₹33 lakh.
Lucrative Earnings Over Five Years
The lease covers the top three floors of the ‘Signature’ building located on Link Road in Oshiwara. The total carpet area of these three floors is approximately 8,428 square feet. The lease term is five years, commencing on August 15, 2026. According to the documents, the agreement was registered on August 7, 2026. This works out to a rent of approximately ₹392 per square foot per month. The total rental income over the five-year period is estimated to be around ₹21.88 crore. Trunativ has also deposited a security amount of ₹1.98 crore. The agreement includes a provision for a 5 percent annual increase in rent. Additionally, the deal includes exclusive parking facilities for nine vehicles within the building.
Amitabh Bachchan’s Property
However, no official comment regarding this matter could be obtained from either Amitabh Bachchan or Trunativ. This deal marks another addition to Amitabh’s commercial real estate portfolio in Mumbai. Earlier, in 2023, he leased four office units in the ‘Lotus Signature’ building to Warner Music at a monthly rent of ₹17.30 lakh; that lease commenced in March 2024. Beyond Mumbai, Amitabh Bachchan is also expanding his real estate investments in Ayodhya, having executed several land deals there in recent years.
