Sarangarh-Bilaigarh: Priyanka Goswami, a teacher and litterateur from the district, has been selected for the ‘Shri Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh State Memorial Award 2026’. She will be honored by the Governor at Lok Bhavan in Raipur on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. Priyanka Goswami has been consistently doing outstanding work in the fields of education, literature, and innovation. Her selection is considered a major achievement for the district.
She has previously been honored with the State Teacher Award 2025. She has played a significant role in spreading positive thinking and awareness in society through literature, alongside implementing innovative experiments in education. As an innovative teacher, Priyanka Goswami has undertaken several noteworthy initiatives to develop the academic and creative capabilities of children in the school. Her dedication is evident in her efforts to reach children in remote areas, connect them with education, and provide better learning opportunities. She constantly strives for the holistic development of students while placing special emphasis on discipline and punctuality within the school.
She has played an active role in engaging children beyond just textbooks by involving them in sports, art, literature, cultural activities, creative writing, digital education, and competitive examinations. She continuously strives to foster an interest in learning, provide a platform for talent, and enhance personality development, leadership skills, and self-confidence. Under her guidance, a sense of responsibility, discipline, and social consciousness is also developing among the students.
