Post-Graduate Jobs: A great job opportunity has emerged for post-graduate candidates. The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has issued a notification to recruit for a total of 50 positions, including Young Professionals, Consultants, and Senior Consultants. A total of 50 positions will be filled under this recruitment drive. These include 20 posts for Young Professionals, 15 for Consultants, and 15 for Senior Consultants.

Who can apply?
Specific educational qualification and experience requirements have been set for the different posts. A post-graduate degree in the relevant subject is required for many of these positions.
Accounts and Audit: Candidates holding qualifications such as CA, ICWAI, MBA (Finance), M.Com., M.Sc. (Accounting/Finance), or equivalent, along with relevant experience, may apply.
Architecture, Structure, and Design: A post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture is mandatory.
Procurement: A post-graduate degree in the relevant subject is required, along with knowledge of government procurement, tendering, GFR, GeM, and CVC guidelines.
Khadi – Quality, Design, and Technology: Candidates must hold a post-graduate degree in Textile or Industrial Engineering and possess experience in design, quality control, or lean manufacturing.
Khadi – Finance and Institutional Services: CA, MBA (Finance), M.Com. …or a qualification such as an M.Sc. in Accounting/Finance is required. Candidates with experience in the textile sector will be given preference.
Khadi Raw Material: A postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in the textile industry, along with work experience in spinning mills, is expected.
Legal: A postgraduate degree in Law and relevant work experience are required.
Marketing: A postgraduate degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Brand Management, along with experience in the retail, FMCG, or textile sectors, is required.
SFURTI: A postgraduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or ECE, along with experience related to MIS, software, dashboards, PFMS, or financial applications, is required.
Science and Technology: Candidates with a postgraduate degree—specifically in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or the textile field—may apply. R&D experience and research publications will be given preference.
Administration: A postgraduate degree along with experience in general administration, establishment matters, and service rules is required. Candidates with work experience in government organizations or PSUs will be given preference.
What is the age requirement?
The age limit for KVIC recruitment varies by post. For the ‘Young Professional’ post, the candidate must be under 27 years of age as of October 1, 2026.
For the ‘Consultant’ post, the minimum age is 40 years and the maximum is 65 years. Meanwhile, for the ‘Senior Consultant’ post, the candidate must be under 39 years of age. For Consultant and Senior Consultant posts, age will be calculated based on the application deadline.
What is the salary?
Candidates selected for the ‘Young Professional’ post will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹25,000 to ₹30,000. Additionally, a transport allowance of ₹2,500 to ₹3,000 will be provided.
Remuneration for the ‘Consultant’ post will be determined in accordance with KVIC’s prescribed rules. Meanwhile, Senior Consultants will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹30,000 to ₹40,000, along with a transport allowance of ₹2,500 to ₹3,000.
Appointment on a One-Year Contract
Selected candidates will initially be appointed on a one-year contract. Depending on the candidate’s performance and the organization’s requirements, the contract may be extended for up to a maximum of two years. A new agreement must be executed for each extension.
Required Skills
Candidates must possess a good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Additionally, strong communication and writing skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to prepare reports and presentations are essential.
Candidates should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, as well as the capacity to handle confidential and sensitive matters.
