Raipur: A job opportunity has emerged for the youth of Chhattisgarh who are seeking employment. With the aim of providing maximum employment opportunities to the youth of the state, a state-level job fair will be organized on October 7 and 8, 2026, at the Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur.
This event is being organized by the Department of Skill Development, Technical Education, and Employment. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will attend the program as the chief guest.
Job opportunities for over 8,000 positions
At the state-level job fair, employment opportunities will be provided to the youth for more than 8,000 vacant positions across technical and non-technical sectors. Major industries and private establishments from the state will participate in the fair to ensure the selection of youth for the maximum number of vacancies.

Selected youth to receive offer letters
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will present offer letters to the candidates selected at the job fairs (held at both state and district levels) during the program. Instructions have been issued to submit the list of selected candidates from the districts by October 1, 2026.
To ensure maximum participation of youth in the job fair, instructions have been given to conduct extensive publicity across all districts through Gram Panchayats and urban local bodies. Additionally, necessary arrangements are to be made at the district level to ensure the presence of the selected youth at the event.

Youth participating in the job fair must carry the necessary documents. These primarily include:
10th-grade mark sheet
12th-grade mark sheet
Employment registration certificate
Domicile certificate
Other necessary documents
The government has instructed district-level officials to complete preparations for the event and make special efforts to provide employment opportunities to the maximum number of youth.
