Update on the Tiger Shroff Shooting Case: Several significant revelations have emerged during the police investigation into the incident involving gunfire at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car. Seven individuals have been identified for their roles in orchestrating the attack. According to the police, three of the accused allegedly acted as shooters, while the other four are accused of being involved in the conspiracy and arranging the weapons. Two women are also among those arrested. The police apprehended three of the accused in Kota, Rajasthan, while the others were arrested in Delhi and Haryana.
Seven Accused Arrested in the Attack on Tiger Shroff
According to the police, the individuals arrested in this case have been identified as Hrithik (alias Roshan), Rehan, Phool Singh, Kunal, Sumit, Radha, and Babita.
Hrithik (alias Roshan): The 22-year-old accused is a native of Begusarai, Bihar, and worked as a Rapido bike-taxi driver in Mumbai.
Rehan: The 17-year-old accused is a resident of Baroda Thuthan village in the Sonipat district of Haryana.
Phool Singh: The 18-year-old accused is from Sonipat, Haryana. He was arrested in Kota, Rajasthan.
Kunal: The 21-year-old accused is a resident of Rohna village in the Sonipat district of Haryana. He is accused of being involved in the conspiracy.
Sumit: The 19-year-old accused is a resident of Ward No. 10, Matindu Road, in Sonipat, Haryana.
Radha: The 23-year-old accused is a resident of Nahwaiya in the Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh.
Babita: The 23-year-old accused is a resident of Kothiyar in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh.
Kunal and Sumit Accused of Arranging Weapons
In the initial phase of the investigation, the police arrested Hrithik, Rehan, and Phool Singh. As the investigation progressed, Kunal and Sumit were arrested in Sonipat, Haryana, while Radha and Babita were taken into custody in Delhi. According to the investigation, Kunal was allegedly in contact with Anil Pandit, who is linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. It is alleged that Kunal had taken responsibility for the attack on Tiger Shroff. Police state that Kunal and Sumit arranged for the weapons, which were then handed over to Radha and Babita, who transported them to Mumbai.
The police investigation revealed that the two women arrived at Dadar, Mumbai, carrying the weapons. From there, the weapons were allegedly delivered to the shooters. Following their arrest, all the accused were handed over to the Mumbai Police for further legal action.
Kunal came into contact with Anil Pandit after his release from jail.
The investigation further revealed that Kunal had recently been released from jail on bail. It is reported that he met Anil Pandit through a mutual friend from Harsana village in Haryana. Subsequently, the two allegedly stayed in touch using an encrypted messaging app.
According to the police, Kunal brought a pistol and 20 cartridges from Amritsar. He had reportedly met Radha about two months prior. The police are currently investigating the entire network and other aspects related to the supply of these weapons.
The weapons were transported from Dadar station to a hotel.
According to the police investigation, Radha and Babita arrived at Dadar station in Mumbai on October 17 and checked into a hotel. The following morning, around 11:00 AM, a minor boy arrived near the hotel, where Radha allegedly handed him a bag containing the weapons.
It is alleged that on the evening of October 18, at approximately 7:00 PM, these same weapons were used to open fire on Tiger Shroff’s car. On the day of the incident, Radha and Babita departed from Mumbai for Delhi aboard the Haridwar Express. The police arrested both women at the New Delhi Railway Station on October 20, while Kunal and Sumit were apprehended in Sonipat, Haryana. The police are conducting further investigations into the role of the accused in this case, the source of the weapons, and other potential members of the alleged network. The charges brought against all the accused remain to be substantiated through the judicial process.
