Australia played on Thursday U19 world cup semi-final won the toss and chose to bowl first. Taking advantage of the initial moisture of the pitch, the Australian bowlers gave several blows to Pakistan one after the other. At one time Pakistan team had lost five wickets for 79 runs. Azan Awais (52) and Arafat Minhas (52) made a partnership of 54 runs for the sixth wicket. Within no time the score became 164 runs for 9 wickets. However, despite this excellent performance, the bowlers could not defend Pakistan’s small score. Australia’s Raphael McMillan (19) and Callum Wideler (2) made an unbeaten partnership of 17 runs for the 10th wicket, giving Australia victory.
