PM Modi Most Popular Global Leader: PM Narendra Modi has remained on the top in the list of the world’s most popular leaders for a long time. He has left behind America’s President Joe Biden to Britain’s PM Rishi Sunak. But now a leader has started getting very close to them in terms of approval rating in the eyes of the people of his country. A survey by America-based global decision intelligence agency ‘Morning Consult’ has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains the most popular global leader with a rating of 78 percent. Prime Minister Modi is more popular than US President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Britain’s Rishi Sunak.

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India

According to the agency’s website, the latest rating list is based on data collected from January 30 to February 5. The ratings survey reflects the average weekly attitudes among adults in each country. According to the Morning Consult survey, PM Modi tops the list with 78 percent approval rating. But now Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is in second place with an approval rating of 65 percent. If seen this way, he has reached just behind PM Modi in terms of popularity. While Argentina’s Javier Miley is the third most popular global leader with an approval rating of 63 percent.

President of Mexico

Andrés Manuel López Obrador is a Mexican politician and was elected President of Mexico in the elections held in 2018. He began his political career in 1976 as a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party in Tabasco and eventually became state leader of the party. He was elected head of Mexico’s municipal government in 2000. Often seen as a populist and a nationalist, Andrés Manuel López Obrador has been a politician of national importance for more than two decades.

Earlier also, PM Modi had got 76 percent rating

In the same survey last December. PM Modi was considered the world’s most popular leader with a rating of 76 percent. 73 year old PM Modi is going to contest the general elections for the third consecutive term as Prime Minister. Like 2014 and 2019, his aim is to return to power by making BJP win this time too. Which is a big achievement achieved by the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Nehru, who took oath on August 15, 1947, the day India gained independence, led the Congress to victory in 1952, 1957 and 1962 before his death in 1964.
