Weather Update: Strong Winds in Delhi and Storm Alert in UP, Heavy Rains in Northeast Could Cause Havoc, Latest IMD Update

Weather Update Today: Changes are being seen in the weather. At some places it is raining and at other places the scorching sun is bothering people. At some places strong winds are blowing and at some places there is a threat of storm.

IMD Weather Update: As India moves into spring, the weather remains volatile with rain, snowfall, and thunderstorms across the country. Uttar Pradesh has experienced a rise in temperatures, while western UP is expected to remain dry. Heavy rainfall has been reported in northwest, central, and eastern India, affecting states like Uttarakhand. Northeastern states are expecting rain, snowfall, and thunderstorms until April 5. Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, and Jharkhand are preparing for strong winds and rains, with hailstorms in Bihar. Northern states like Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan may experience isolated rain and hailstorms, while Himachal Pradesh continues to see rain and snowfall.

Mixed Weather Patterns Continue Across India, IMD Predicts Unsettled Conditions:

According to the Meteorological Department, rain, snowfall, strong winds, thunderstorms, and hailstorms were witnessed in different parts of the country and this situation is likely to continue for the next few days. Along with this, an increase in temperature was also recorded in many areas.

Temperature Rise in Uttar Pradesh, Dry Weather Expected in Western UP:

An increase in temperature was observed from Noida to Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. There is little hope of people getting relief after the scorching sun during the day. If the weather department is to be believed, the weather is likely to remain dry in western UP.

Rain and Snowfall Hit Northwest, Central, and Eastern India:

Moderate to heavy rain was seen in northwest, central, and eastern India. Uttarakhand may also receive light to moderate rain and snowfall along with sporadic rains today.

Northeastern States Brace for Rain, Snowfall, and Thunderstorms:

At the same time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain, snowfall, and lightning along with sporadic thunderstorms in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, and Tripura from today to April 5.

Strong Winds and Rains Expected in Odisha, Gangetic WB, and Jharkhand:

Strong winds and rains accompanied by thunder and lightning are expected in Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, and Jharkhand. Hailstorms were also observed in Bihar.

Hailstorms Reported in Bihar, Rain and Hail Expected in Northern States:

Light to moderate rain and hailstorm along with thunder and lightning were witnessed at isolated places over Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi.

Delhi Records Above-Normal Minimum Temperature, Heat Intensifies:

The heat has started increasing in the capital even in the morning. Due to this, the minimum temperature in the morning was recorded four degrees Celsius above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature in some areas of Delhi was more than 26 degrees Celsius.

Himachal Pradesh Experiences Continued Rain and Snow, Strong Storms Cause Tree Falls:

The spell of rain and snowfall continues in Himachal. There are also reports of trees falling at many places due to the strong storm. While on one hand there is heavy rain in the plains, snowfall has started in the mountains.
