Corona is scaring again, 6 people lost their lives in the last 24 hours in India, 28 new cases are being found every hour

Corona has started spreading again in India. Active cases in the country have increased to more than 4000. At the same time, 109 cases of Omicron's sub-variant JN.1 have been found so far.

692 new cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. That means every hour 28 new cases of Covid are being found in the country. At the same time, active cases have increased to 4097. In the last 24 hours, 6 people have died due to Covid across the country, out of which two have occurred in Maharashtra, one each in Karnataka, Delhi, Kerala and West Bengal. 

According to the Health Ministry, so far 4,50,10,944 cases of corona have been reported in India. At the same time, 5,33,346 people have lost their lives. At the same time, 109 cases of Omicron’s sub-variant JN.1 have been found so far. Earlier on Wednesday, the first case of JN.1 was found in Delhi.

Earlier, case of JN.1 has also been found in Noida. Its first case was found in Kerala. Delhi AIIM has issued guidelines for hospitals after the sudden increase in corona virus cases in the country. 

Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj had said on Wednesday that the first case of JN.1 has come to light in Delhi. Actually, three samples were sent for genome sequencing in Delhi, and JN.1 was confirmed in one of them, while Omicron variant was found in two.

An official said that the JN.1 variant has been confirmed in a 52-year-old woman. The woman was admitted to the hospital three to four weeks ago. The woman had mild symptoms of corona. He had cough and difficulty in breathing. However, the woman’s health is fine now, she has also been discharged from the hospital. 

How dangerous is the JN.1 variant? 

The JN.1 variant of Corona is said to be more infectious than other variants and spreads faster than other variants. However, no serious threat has emerged from this variant so far. The World Health Organization has designated the JN.1 variant as a ‘variant of interest’. As stated. According to WHO, there is no major threat to the public from this. Already existing vaccines are effective against this variant. 

Earlier on Wednesday, 529 new cases of Corona were reported in the country. Three people also died during this period. Of these, two lost their lives in Karnataka and one in Gujarat.
