Do you know why ED wants to interrogate Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal? What are the five allegations against Kejriwal?

ED Case Against Arvind Kejriwal: ED has issued notice against Arvind Kejriwal thrice. However, he has not appeared before the ED all three times.

Arvind Kejriwal News: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s troubles are increasing. Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kejriwal have not appeared before the investigating agency even after being summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) thrice in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. AAP leaders say that Arvind Kejriwal can be arrested. Meanwhile, information about the allegations made by ED against Kejriwal has also come to light.

In the Delhi Liquor Policy case, ED has told about five such points on the basis of which the investigating agency wants to interrogate Kejriwal. In this, everything from the meeting regarding liquor policy at Kejriwal’s house to the money received by the party has been mentioned.

Amidst all this, discussion has also started that ED can send another notice to Delhi CM on Thursday (January 4). In such a situation, let us know in five points what allegations the ED has made against Kejriwal.

What are the charges against Arvind Kejriwal?

  • ED investigation has revealed that ‘Proceed of Crime’ During this period, Rs 338 crore has reached Aam Aadmi Party. In fact, during the hearing on Manish Sisodia’s bail in the Supreme Court, ED had placed a money trail of Rs 338 crore before the court. In this it was being proved that during the liquor policy, Rs 338 crore had reached the Aam Aadmi Party from the liquor mafia. Arvind Kejriwal is the patron of the party, so it is necessary to interrogate him.
  • Indospirit director Sameer Mahendru, accused in the liquor policy case or rather the excise case, told the ED during interrogation that Vijay Nair, very close to Arvind Kejriwal, had made him meet the Delhi CM through Face Time app. In this, Arvind Kejriwal had told him that Vijay Nair is his man and he should trust Nair.
  • A meeting regarding the new liquor policy was also held at Arvind Kejriwal’s house. Some prominent leaders and people participated in this meeting. Based on this also, ED wants to interrogate Kejriwal.
  • Manish Sisodia’s then secretary C Arvind told during interrogation that the excise policy had a margin profit of 6%, which was increased to 12% only with the approval of Arvind Kejriwal. That means Arvind Kejriwal also had a role in making the excise policy.
  • The cabinet meeting that was held regarding the new excise policy is called by the Chief Minister. Somewhere in this way the strings of excise policy matter are directly connected to Arvind Kejriwal.

ED wants to interrogate Arvind Kejriwal on the basis of these five points. According to news agency PTI, a fourth notice may soon be sent to Kejriwal, who has not responded to the three notices. At present, the anti-money laundering agency is investigating the five-page reply sent by Kejriwal on Wednesday. ED ‘Prevention of Money Laundering’ Under the law, Delhi can also send a fourth notice to the CM.
