Rolls Royce:Â Rolls-Royce has introduced the third model of the Droptail, a coach-built roadster worth approximately Rs 31 million (about Rs 257 crore). Named Arcadia Droptail, it was unveiled at a private event in Singapore and follows the Amethyst and La Rose Noire cars shown as part of the ‘Production Run of Four’ last year.
Rolls-Royce Arcadia Coupe Design and Performance
Arcadia is said to be inspired by the architecture and design of its commissioner’s favorite regions, including Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam. According to Rolls-Royce, the white color of the car includes aluminum and glass parts, which creates curiosity when seen from the front. Unlike the three other Droptails, the bottom of the Arcadia’s carbon fiber tub is designed with the same silver finish.

The wood paneling of the Arcadia’s interior was developed with references to the Commissioner’s favorite homes and classic cars. Santos straight grain rosewood was chosen for its “prospectus architectonics”, but, having one of the densest grains of any wood ever used in a Rolls-Royce, posed a major engineering challenge, as the machine When made from plastic, it bursts easily and when dried, the risk of bursting increases.
Interior
A special lacquer had to be prepared to protect the wood for the lifetime of the car in tropical climates. According to Rolls-Royce, superyacht coatings were initially considered, but would require regular re-application. In total, the firm said, it took more than 8,000 hours to develop the coating and work on 233 pieces of wood.
The dashboard also includes Rolls-Royce’s self-designed watch, considered the most complex piece ever developed, requiring two years of research and five months of assembly.

Engine
This two-seat roadster is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 engine, which is capable of generating a total power of 601hp and an output of 841Nm with an additional 30hp of power.
