Sensex fell by more than 6000 points
The Sensex has fallen by 6,234.35 points and has come down to 70,234. A fall of more than 6000 points in a single day is such a wound for the stock market that it may take a long time to heal. This is the only day in the history of the domestic stock market where the market has faced such a severe fall. This is the biggest single day landslide downfall in the history of the stock market so far.
Nifty fell by about 2000 points
NSE’s Nifty has set such a record of decline that it seems very difficult to overcome it. Nifty has fallen by 1,982.45 points and has touched a low of 21,281.45.
BSE’s market capitalization sank by Rs 41 lakh crore
The market capitalization of BSE has plunged by Rs 41 lakh crore and this is the biggest fall in a single day. On June 3, the market cap of the stocks listed on BSE was Rs 426.24 lakh crore which has come down to Rs 385 lakh crore at 12.50 pm.
28 out of 30 Sensex stocks fell
28 out of 30 Sensex stocks are seeing a decline and NTPC has fallen by more than 14 percent. SBI is down by 13.41 percent and Power Grid is down by 11.12 percent. L&T is down by 10.84 percent while Tata Steel is down by 10.47 percent.
46 out of 50 Nifty stocks fell
Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 46 stocks are seeing a decline and only 4 stocks are barely in the bullish zone. Currently, 2639 stocks are being traded on NSE and 2431 stocks are seeing a decline. Only 150 stocks are trading with gains while 88 stocks are unchanged.

At 9:30 am, the BSE Sensex is seeing a decline of 2363.83 points or 3.09 percent and has come down to 74,104.95. The Sensex is witnessing a decline today at the same rate as it was witnessing higher levels yesterday.

On the day of election results, the BSE Sensex opened at 76,285 after falling 183 points or 0.24 percent. The NSE Nifty opened at 23,179 after falling 84.40 points or 0.36 percent.

In the pre-opening of the stock market, the BSE Sensex was trading at the level of 77122 with a jump of 672 points or 0.88 percent. Apart from this, the NSE Nifty was trading at the level of 23714 with a jump of 450.10 points or 1.94 percent. Before the pre-opening, the Nifty, which indicates the start of the market, was at 23447 with a jump of 0.16 percent with a rise of 38.60 points.

On June 3, the market cap of the stocks listed on the BSE closed at Rs 426.24 lakh crore, i.e., in a single session, the wealth of investors saw a jump of more than Rs 14 lakh crore. This is the highest level of market cap of the Indian stock market.
