Ameen Sayani Death: Famous actor Rituraj passed away yesterday. Everyone is shocked by this news. Now another sad news is coming from the entertainment world. Actually, Radio/Vivid Bharati’s most famous announcer and talk show host Amin Sayani has passed away. Amin Sayani died of heart attack yesterday i.e. Tuesday evening. He was 91 years old. Amin Sayani’s son Rajil Sayani confirmed his death to ABP News. The news of Amin Sayani’s death has created a wave of mourning among his fans. 

How did Amin Sayani die?

Late Amin Sayani’s son told ABP News that Amin Sayani had a heart attack on Tuesday at 6.00 pm at his home in South Mumbai. After the heart attack, his son Rajil immediately took him to H.K. Hospital in South Mumbai. N. He was taken to Reliance Foundation Hospital where doctors declared him dead shortly after treatment.

What was the disease of Amin Sayani?

Amin Sayani had high blood pressure and other age related diseases and was also complaining of back pain for the last 12 years and that is why he had to use a walker to walk.

Amin Sayani was the most famous radio announcer

on Radio Ceylon and then on Vividh Bharati. His program of Hindi songs ‘Binaka Geetmala’, which ran for almost 42 years, broke all the records of success and people were eager to listen to him every week. With ‘Geetmala’, Amin became India’s first host to curate and present a complete show, showcasing his deep understanding of the emerging music landscape. The success of the show strengthened Sayani’s position as a radio personality.

Many records are registered in the name of Amin Sayani

Amin Sayani has the record of producing/comparing/voiceover more than 54,000 radio programs in his name. Amin Sayani’s name is also registered in Limca Books of Records for providing voice for about 19,000 jingles.

He also worked as an announcer in films like Bhoot Bangla, Teen Deviyan, Katla. His star-based radio show ‘S Kumar’s Filmi Sude’ also proved to be quite popular. Amin Sayani’s funeral is expected to take place tomorrow in South Mumbai.
