The event marked the 72nd edition of the international pageant, which returned to India for the second consecutive year.

A Sparkling Night in Hyderabad

The grand finale dazzled the audience with a cultural showcase, national costumes, and stunning evening gowns. Hosted by former Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle and Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar, the event was nothing short of spectacular.

Opal Suchata received the crown from outgoing Miss World Kristina Piszkova. The first runner-up was Haset Dereje from Ethiopia, followed by Maja Klajda of Poland as the second runner-up and Aurelie Joachim of Martinique as the third.

India’s Nandini Gupta Makes It to Top 20

India’s pride, Nandini Gupta, impressed the judges and made it to the Top 20, though she fell short of breaking into the Top 8. However, her presence was strongly felt throughout the competition:

  • She wore a gown inspired by the holy river Ganga, designed by a Vietnamese designer
