The leader of this organization Masarat Alam Bhat used to run an anti-India agenda. He was also carrying out activities in the valley in support of Pakistan. 

Efforts were being made to separate India

Amit Shah told that ‘Tehreek-e-Hurriyat’ He was involved in terrorist activities and his aim was to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India. ‘Tehreek-e-Hurriyat’ Was also promoting separatism in Kashmir. He was trying to establish Islamic rule. The Home Minister said that our government has a policy of zero-tolerance regarding terrorism. Organizations involved in anti-India activities will be immediately eliminated.

The Union Home Minister wrote on social media platform X, ‘Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir (TeH) has been declared an ‘unlawful organisation’ under UAPA. Has been declared. The organization was involved in activities to separate Jammu and Kashmir from India and establish Islamic rule. This organization is doing anti-India propaganda to promote separatism in Jammu and Kashmir and was involved in terrorist activities.’

Amit Shah further said, ‘Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism, if any person or organization is involved in anti-India activity, it will be immediately foiled.’ Modi government has continuously taken action against separatist organizations to eliminate terrorism from the valley. This is the most recent step taken in that direction.
