It has been told that these terrorists are roaming in the upper areas of Bhaderwah, Thathri and Gandoh. Police has also announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for providing information about the terrorists. 

Constable Farid Ahmed has been injured in the firing by terrorists in Kota Top area of ​​Doda. He has been shifted to Government Medical College for treatment. Hospital Superintendent Dr Tanveer said that the patient was shot, he is stable. He has bullet injuries in the chest and leg. He is stable after the operation. 

After two terrorist attacks in Doda within 24 hours, security has been tightened in the area. Police security has been tightened in Thathri area of ​​Doda and vehicles are being checked. People are being asked to show their IDs. Also, vehicles are being opened and checked. Apart from this, search operation is also going on.

An encounter between security forces and terrorists started at 8.20 pm on Wednesday (12 June) in Doda district of Jammu. The terrorists opened fire on a joint team of police and paramilitary forces in the Kota Top area of ​​Gandoh in the district. Constable Farid Ahmed was injured in this attack. 

The first terrorist attack took place on Tuesday in Doda district of Jammu. Late night, terrorists attacked a joint checkpost in the upper area of ​​Chatergalla on the Bhaderwah-Pathankot road. Five soldiers of the National Rifles and a Special Police Officer (SPO) were injured in this.

After the attack, a joint team of police and paramilitary forces came into action and a search operation was launched to kill the terrorists. On Wednesday night, the team was deployed in Kota Top area near Gandoh, when the terrorists attacked it. In this, Constable Farid Ahmed was injured by bullets. 

As soon as the information about the terrorist attack was received, a team of security forces was immediately dispatched. However, it is not yet clear whether the terrorists who attacked Kota Top also attacked Chatargalla or not. The distance between the two places is 100 km, which can be covered by trekking through the forests in 7-8 hours. 

While Doda is shaken by terrorist attacks, terrorists attacked Sayeda village in Kathua on Tuesday night. Security forces killed two terrorists in an encounter in this village of Kathua district, while a CRPF jawan also died. A local resident was also injured in the terrorist attack. 

According to the Indian Express report, both the terrorists killed had entered Jammu through the international border with Pakistan. At present, police and paramilitary forces are conducting a search operation in Kathua. They are sure that along with the killed terrorists, there are other terrorists also who are hiding in the forests. 

The first terrorist attack took place on 9 June in Reasi district of Jammu, when terrorists opened fire on a bus carrying devotees going to visit the Vaishno Devi temple. 9 people have died in this attack, while more than 30 people have been injured.

A police spokesperson said that ‘Jammu and Kashmir Police has released sketches of 4 terrorists who are believed to be present in the upper areas of Bhaderwah, Thathri, Gandoh and are carrying out terrorism related activities.’ He said that a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh has also been announced for the person giving information about each terrorist. Jammu and Kashmir Police has appealed to the people to give information about the presence and movement of these terrorists.
