DVK Foundation launches scholarship programme for EWS students at BGIS Vrindavan

The DVK Foundation has introduced a dedicated scholarship programme for students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) at Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School (BGIS), Vrindavan.

The initiative, formalised through a recently signed MoU between the foundation and the institution, seeks to support meritorious students by providing financial assistance, study materials and incentives for academic excellence. BGIS, ranked among the top boarding schools in Uttar Pradesh, will serve as the host institution for this initiative.

Under the programme, selected candidates, designated as DV Kapur Scholars, will receive comprehensive support, including study materials, uniforms, laptops and awards to aid their educational journey.

The scholarship also features an Annual Merit Award of up to Rs 20,000 for students of Classes VIII, IX and XI, subject to school recommendation and foundation approval. Introduced from the academic session 2025–26, the scheme will continue until the students complete their schooling.

With BGIS entrusted to manage and disburse funds in accordance with agreed guidelines. The foundation has extended its congratulations to the selected scholars, encouraging them to make the most of the opportunity and strive for excellence.
