Kolkata Rape-Murder Case:Â Interrogation and investigation is going on in the rape-murder case of a trainee doctor in Kolkata. The CBI is trying to find out the truth. The investigating agency has also linked the sequence of events of the night before the rape and murder of the female trainee doctor. CBI sources said that four colleagues of the junior doctor will have to undergo a lie detector test. Because the statements of those four colleagues seem to be contradictory to each other.Â

According to a report by NDTV, sources in the central investigative agency CBI have said that it does not seem that the four doctors were involved in the crime, but they want to investigate whether they played a role in tampering with evidence or were part of a conspiracy. These include two first year PG trainee doctors, a house surgeon and an intern.
Kolkata police has already questioned the four doctors
According to Kolkata Police, one of these doctors saw the victim’s body in the seminar hall at 9.30 am the next day. After which he informed the authorities about the incident. At the same time, the sequence of events shows that before the CBI took over the investigation, Kolkata Police had questioned these four doctors.
Kolkata Rape-Murder Case: Know what CBI has found so far?
The CBI has found fingerprints of two of these four doctors in the seminar room on the third floor where the body was found. The CBI investigation has revealed that the CCTV camera captured the house surgeon going from the first floor to the third floor that night. The house surgeon has said that he went to the third floor at 2.45 am that night. However, the intern was on the third floor and he spoke to the victim that night.
Know what happened on the night of the trainee doctor’s death?
According to CBI sources, the female trainee doctor and two colleagues had dinner around midnight. After which they went to the seminar room and watched Neeraj Chopra’s javelin throw competition in the Olympics on TV. After this, at around 2 o’clock in the night, both the colleagues went to sleep, where the doctors on duty were resting, while the female trainee doctor stayed in the seminar room. At the same time, the intern says that he was in the room. Actually, these three rooms – seminar hall, sleep and intern room are located close to each other on the third floor.
Later, at around 9.30 am, one of the postgraduate trainee doctors, with whom the victim had dinner the previous night, went to see her before the ward rounds began. According to the Kolkata Police timeline, he saw her body from a distance in a semi-nude state. He then informed his colleagues and senior doctors about the incident.
