The secret of mental health in the Indian yoga tradition – Sadhguru 

PM Modi listened to Sadhguru’s message in which he talked about the secret of his fitness. Sadhguru said, ‘ There is a very direct relationship between our mental illnesses and how we maintain our neurological systems. If we keep our neurological system healthy, it will determine how happy we feel within ourselves.’ He said that what we call peace, love, joy, pain, depression, ecstasy, all this happens due to chemical and neurological changes. Pharmacology is essentially trying to correct chemical imbalances within the body by adding external chemicals.”

Sadhguru said that mental illnesses are being treated this way all over the world, but we must realize that taking chemicals from outside as medicine is necessary only when someone is in an extremely serious condition. To maintain internal mental health, the condition inside the body will always have to be maintained better. It is very important that we should nurture it, for this there are many levels of practice in the yoga system which are completely internal processes which people can do as easy exercises. Yoga science has all the solutions for mental health. Which has existed for centuries in the form of Indian yogi tradition.

What did Akshay Kumar-Harmanpreet say

Actor Akshay Kumar said that apart from the gym, he relies more on natural exercises to stay fit. Like swimming, running and country exercises etc. He told the youth not to copy film stars and stick to traditional methods of staying fit. Akshay Kumar said that it is very important that we understand what is good for our fitness and what is bad. He said that you should change your lifestyle on the advice of doctors and not by looking at the body of any film star.

Meanwhile, cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur said that daily exercise and 7 hours of complete sleep is very important for the body and it helps in staying fit. This will require a lot of discipline and consistency. He said that when you start getting results, you will start exercising yourself every day.
