Mukesh Sahni’s Father Found Murdered: Jitan Sahni, father of Bihar’s Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) supremo Mukesh Sahni, has been murdered. His mutilated body was found in his house in Darbhanga on Tuesday morning. He was attacked with a sharp weapon. Household items are scattered at the spot.
SIT has been formed to investigate the murder. SIT will investigate under the leadership of SP Rural. The incident is from Jirat village of Ghanshyampur police station of Darbhanga district.
Jitan Sahni used to live alone in the house. He has two sons Mukesh Sahni and Santosh Sahni. He has a daughter who is married and lives in Mumbai. Mukesh Sahni has left for Darbhanga from Mumbai.
Mukesh Sahni has been the former Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Resources Minister of Bihar. In the recently held Lok Sabha elections, he had held several public meetings with former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. VIP is part of the grand alliance.

What the VIP party leader Says
Regarding the incident, VIP party leader Dev Jyoti said that we have received information about the incident a while ago. Right now our party leader Mukesh Sahni is in Mumbai. He will reach Patna in a short while. Dev Jyoti said that we are still unable to find out why our leader’s father was killed. We are trying to get information. Our leader will reach Patna in a short while and after that he will reach Darbhanga.
There was a stir in the area after getting the information about the murder. The police reached the spot in a hurry. The police has started investigating the case. According to preliminary information, apart from Jeetan Sahni, 2 to 3 servants and a driver lived in the house. Jeetan Sahni was murdered with a sharp weapon, due to which his body was lying mutilated.
After the incident, the police has reached the house of Mukesh Sahni’s father. All the police officers are busy investigating the case. The police as well as the people around are refusing to say anything about why Mukesh Sahni’s father Jeetan Sahni was murdered.
