NITI Aayog Meeting: Today on Saturday (27 July), Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 9th meeting of NITI Aayog. In this, Chief Ministers of all the states are invited. But, surprisingly, 10 Chief Ministers opposed this meeting and did not attend. At the same time, many Chief Ministers did not attend the meeting due to other reasons. These include leaders like Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

The meeting of NITI Aayog has been held every year under the chairmanship of PM Modi. 10 Chief Ministers of the country did not participate in this time’s NITI Aayog meeting. These included Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann , Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Puducherry CM N Rangasamy and Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren.

In the meeting of Niti Aayog, the topic of Developed India 2047 was discussed under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi . During this, after the meeting of Niti Aayog was over, CEO B.V.R. Subramaniam told in a press conference that 10 Chief Ministers were absent in today’s meeting and 26 Chief Ministers had attended it. We had absentees from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Bihar, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand and Puducherry.
Niti Aayog clarified the allegations of Mamta Banerjee
Niti Aayog CEO BVR Subramaniam said, “West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee was present. She had requested for a turn before lunch. Because, usually the meeting starts with Andhra Pradesh and then ends with Arunachal Pradesh. Every CM gets 7 minutes of time. In which there is only a clock on the top of the screen which tells you the time.”
He further said, “Mamata Banerjee presented her point and we respectfully listened to her and paid attention to what she said, which she would have said in a minute. At the same time, the Chief Secretary of West Bengal remained in the meeting because Mamata Banerjee had to catch a flight to Kolkata.”
