PM Modi’s Pledge and Power-Packed Speech: Congress, Ram’s Legacy, and a Guarantee for India’s Bright Future!

PM Modi Speech Highlights: PM Modi, while replying to the discussion on the motion of thanks on President Draupadi Murmu's address, said that Congress is entangled in the same family.

PM Modi Speech Highlights: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while replying to the discussion on the motion of thanks on Presidenr Draupadi Murmu’s address, fiercely targeted Congress and other opposition parties. During this, he mentioned many issues including familyism, former PM Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Lok Sabha elections.

PM Modi said that after listening to the opposition leaders, he became convinced that they had resolved to sit there (in the opposition) for a long time. Many people have lost the courage to contest elections, some had changed seats last time and are trying to change this time too.

He said in the Lok Sabha, “Like every time, you (the opposition) disappointed the people. The leaders have changed, but they keep talking about the same old things. If it was an election year, we would have worked harder. The Congress party is responsible for this condition of the opposition coming out with something new.

He alleged that Congress did not allow the opposition to move forward. The opposition did not allow Parliament to function. By doing this the opposition caused harm to the Parliament and the country. At this time the country needs a healthy and good opposition.

Referring to Adhir Ranjan and Kharge

PM Modi sarcastically said that we are looking at the condition of Adhir Babu, but one has to serve the family. Mallikarjun Kharge shifted from this House to that House. Ghulam Nabi Azad shifted from the party itself.

What was said about Rahul Gandhi?

Without taking the name of Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi said in the House that due to launching the same product again and again, the Congress shop is on the verge of being locked. This is happening only because of familyism. Congress is entangled in a family.

During this, when the opposition parties took the names of Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, PM Modi said that if more than one person in a family progresses in the political field on their own strength and with public support, then we do not call it familyism. We call it familialism when the family runs the party, gives priority to the family members and all the decisions are taken by the family members. This is familyism.

PM Modi also mentioned Nehru and Indira Gandhi

PM Modi said that former PM Jawaharlal Nehru had told from the Red Fort that India generally does not have the habit of working hard. We do not work as much as Europe, Japan, China, Russia and America do. Nehru’s view towards Indians was that Indians were lazy.

He further said that Indira Gandhi’s thinking was not much different from that of Jawaharlal Nehru. He had said from the Red Fort – Unfortunately, our habit is that when some auspicious work is about to be completed, we suffer from a feeling of self-satisfaction and when any difficulty arises, we become hopeless.

What did PM Modi say about Congress?

PM Modi said in Parliament that we have given more than 17 crore gas connections. If we go at the pace of Congress, it would take another 60 years to complete this work. Three generations would pass away cooking in smoke.

He further said that the mentality of Congress has caused great loss to the country. Congress never believed in the strength of the country, they considered themselves rulers and underestimated the people.

PM Modi said that the Congress government cannot even imagine the speed with which work is being done in the country today. We built 4 crore houses for the poor, out of which 80 lakh pucca houses were built for the urban poor. If work had been done at the speed of Congress, it would have taken 100 years, 100 generations to complete this much work.

What did you say about the loksabha elections?

PM Modi said that my guarantee is that in our third term, India will become the third largest economy in the world. This will continue to happen in my third term. He said that Congress cannot even imagine the speed at which work is being done in the country.

He further said that our third term will be full of big decisions. I had said from the Red Fort and had also reiterated at the time of Ram Lalla’s consecration that I want to see the country prosperous and at the pinnacle of success for the next thousand years.

In fact, the BJP-led NDA had won the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections. If NDA wins this time too, it will be a hat-trick.

Taking a dig at the opposition alliance ‘India’

PM Modi said while taking a dig at the opposition alliance ‘India’ that a few days ago, Bhanumati’s clan was added and then they started doing ‘Ekla Chalo Re’. The alignment of the alliance deteriorated. When they do not trust each other then how will they trust the people of the country.

Let us tell you that TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is part of the opposition alliance India, had recently said that we will contest the elections alone on all the 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
