Rajasthan Budget 2024: Finance Minister Diya Kumari is presenting the budget in Rajasthan. This is the first budget of the new BJP government in the state. Before the Loksabha Elections many populist promises have been made in the budget of Bhajan Lal Sharma government. 

Important points of Diya Kumari’s budget

• There is a double engine government in Rajasthan.
• Finance Minister Diya Kumari said that earlier 450 grams of food was available in Annapurna Rasoi, now 600 grams of food will be available. 
• Will work to benefit every person.
• Announcement of Rs 1000 crore for schools and colleges.
• Additional fund of Rs 1500 crore in State Road Fund. Will take steps to overcome the power crisis.
•  Under Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana, solar panels will be installed in five lakh houses and 300 units of electricity will be available free of cost. 
• Announcement of 500 electric buses for districts like Jaipur, Jodhalpur, Kota.
• To overcome the traffic, Jaipur Metro will be expanded, DPR will be prepared.
• Rs 15 thousand crore has been announced for tap water. 
• Education will be extended to the deprived sections…From the coming year, free education from KG to PG for the children of low income group and agricultural workers.
• Announcement of recruitment on 70 thousand posts in the coming year
• Hi-tech city will be developed near Jaipur, world class facilities will be provided.
• Gopal Credit Card announced in Rajasthan like Kisan Credit Card, five lakh people will get benefit
• Under Mission Olympic, kits will be provided to 50 talented youth of the state.
• All students from class 1 to 8 and girl students from class 9 to 12 studying in government schools will get one thousand rupees for dress.
• Laado Protsahan Yojana will be started, under this, a saving bond of Rs 1 lakh will be given on the birth of a girl child from a poor family.
• Rs 250 crore will be spent to run AYUSH program in the state.
