BJP Candidates List, Lok Sabha Election 2024:Â BJP has released another list of Lok Sabha candidates. There are 9 names in this list. In the BJP list, candidates have been announced for 7 seats in UP. The party has made Sanjay Tandon the candidate by cutting Kiran Kher’s ticket from Chandigarh. Apart from this, Neeraj Tripathi has been made the candidate from Allahabad seat by cutting Rita Bahuguna Joshi’s ticket.

Important points of BJP’s list
– Sanjay Tandon has been given ticket from Chandigarh. Two-time MP Kiran Kher’s ticket has been cut from this seat. Kiran Kher won  the Lok Sabha elections twice in 2014 and 2019 .
– In this list of BJP, candidates have been announced for 9 seats, out of which BJP had won 7 seats in 2019. But out of these, only in 2 seats Machhalinagar and Kaushambi, sitting MPs have been given tickets. Whereas on 4 seats, MPs’ tickets have been cut. Babul Supriyo, who won the election on BJP ticket in 2019 from Asansol, had already resigned and joined TMC.
– Jaiveer Singh Thakur from Mainpuri seat of UP, Vinod Sonkar from Kaushambi, Praveen Patel from Phulpur, Neeraj Tripathi from Allahabad, Neeraj Shekhar from Ballia, BP Saroj from Machhalinagar, and Paras Nath Rai from Ghazipur seat have been given tickets. Rita Bahuguna Joshi was the MP from Allahabad. Candidate Neeraj Tripathi from Allahabad is the son of former Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi.
– Apart from this, SS Ahluwalia has been given ticket from Asansol seat of West Bengal. BJP had earlier made Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh a candidate from this seat. But later he returned the ticket. TMC has made actress Shatrughan Sinha a candidate from this seat.
– BJP has so far announced more than 425 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In UP, which has 80 seats, BJP is contesting on 74 seats. While out of 6 seats, ally RLD will contest on 2, Anupriya Patel’s own party will contest on 2. While one seat each has been given to Nishad Party and Rajbhar’s party. BJP has so far announced candidates on 69 out of 74 seats. BJP first released the first list of 195 candidates. After this, separate lists of 72, 9 and 16 candidates were released.
