BJP Shakeup in Rajasthan: 5 MPs Axed from Lok Sabha Race, Check Out the New Faces!

Lok Sabha Election 2024: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP Candidate List) has released the first list of 195 candidates on Saturday for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. In the first list, BJP has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest from Varanasi seat. Amit Shah will contest from Gandhinagar seat of Gujarat. In the first list of BJP, candidates have been announced from 15 seats of Rajasthan. Out of these 15 candidates, BJP has canceled the tickets of 5 MPs.

BJP candidates list of 15 Lok Sabha seats of Rajasthan

Bikaner Lok Sabha seat – 

Arjun Ram Meghwal. Meghwal is also a Union Minister. His role in the assembly elections was very important. The party has given him the ticket again. 

Churu Lok Sabha seat-  

BJP has canceled the ticket of the sitting MP from Churu. BJP has made Paralympic athlete Devendra Jhajharia its candidate from here. Currently Rahul Kaswan is MP from Churu. But they were facing opposition in the area. In such a situation, the party has canceled his ticket. 

Sikar Lok Sabha seat –  

BJP has again given ticket to sitting MP Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati from Sikar. 

Alwar Lok Sabha seat-  

BJP has changed the candidate from Alwar seat. Baba Balak Nath was the MP from here. But after the victory in the assembly elections, BJP has appointed Baba Balaknath for the politics of Rajasthan. From here BJP has given ticket to Bhupendra Yadav. 

Bharatpur Lok Sabha seat-  

BJP has also canceled the ticket of the sitting MP from Bharatpur Lok Sabha seat. Ranjita Koli was the MP from here. But due to this, the party has made Ramswaroop Koli its candidate from here. 

Nagaur Lok Sabha seat – 

In the 2019 elections, Nagaur seat was left by BJP for its ally RLP. From where Hanuman Beniwal became MP after winning the election. But now RLP is not with BJP. In such a situation, the party has given ticket to Jyoti Mirdha from here. Jyoti Mirdha was earlier in Congress. Had joined BJP before the assembly elections.  

Pali Lok Sabha Seat-   

BJP has again given ticket to sitting MP PP Choudhary from Pali Lok Sabha seat. 

Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat –  

Senior BJP leader Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is currently the MP from the hometown of former CM Ashok Gehlot. In such a situation, the party has given him the ticket again. Shekhawat is also a Union Minister. 

Barmer Lok Sabha seat-  

There is no change from Barmer also. The party has given ticket to sitting MP Kailash Chaudhary. There was talk of his ticket being canceled for the past few days. But this did not happen. 

Jalore Lok Sabha seat-  

BJP has canceled the ticket of sitting MP Devji Patel from Jalore Lok Sabha seat. Ruparam Choudhary has been given ticket from here. Devji Patel had lost in the 2023 assembly elections. In such a situation, it was considered certain that his ticket would be canceled. 

Udaipur Lok Sabha seat –   

From Udaipur, BJP has fielded sitting MP Katkat Mannalal Rawat as its candidate. Arjunlal Meena was the MP from here. But his ticket has been cancelled. 

Banswara Lok Sabha seat-  

Recently, senior Congress leader of Banswara Mahendrajit Singh Malviya had joined BJP. Since then there was talk of giving him Lok Sabha ticket. Today, BJP has given ticket to Malviya in the first list of candidates. The ticket of sitting MP Kanakamal Katara has been canceled from here. 

Chittorgarh Lok Sabha seat- 

BJP Rajasthan state president CP Joshi is the MP from here. The party has again fielded him in the election field. It was under the leadership of CP Joshi that BJP got a big victory in the assembly elections.

Kota Lok Sabha seat – 

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is the MP from Kota, famous as coaching city. The party has again given him the Lok Sabha ticket. 

Jhalawar-Baran Lok Sabha seat-  

Dushyant Singh, son of former CM Vasundhara Raje, is the MP from Jhalawar-Baran Lok Sabha seat. The party has again given him the Lok Sabha ticket.
