Out of the 10 Rajya Sabha seats of Rajasthan, Congress currently has six members. Except Neeraj Dangi, all the members are outsiders. Manmohan Singh, Pramod Tiwari, KC Venugopal, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Mukul Wasnik, all of them come from Punjab, UP, Kerala, Haryana and Maharashtra. At the same time, two names have to be approved in BJP. But for this also the name will be decided not by the state but by the Centre.

BJP can send a Gurjar face to Rajya Sabha

Here BJP is preparing to solve the caste equation. There is also talk of Kshatriyas and Gurjars not getting much representation in the BJP government of the state. In such a situation, BJP can send former leader of opposition Rajendra Rathore and some Gurjar face to Rajya Sabha from here. According to sources, the party wants to send a big message by sending Gurjar leader Vijay Bainsla to Rajya Sabha.
