1. Purvanchalis
Purvanchalis (people of Purvanchal origin from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh) have a considerable population in the country’s capital Delhi. The Purvanchalis dominate every part of Delhi. This is the reason why every party tries to woo this community.
Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party also has a large number of people of Purvanchal origin. According to a statistic, the share of this community in the total voters of Delhi is about 42 percent. Lakhs of people from different parts of the country come to Delhi in search of livelihood. A large part of them earn their livelihood by driving autorickshaws. Recently, Arvind Kejriwal met the auto drivers of Delhi. On this occasion, he announced an insurance of Rs 10 lakh for the auto drivers. 4. Senior Citizen
Arvind Kejriwal has made a complete plan to woo the senior citizen vote bank. The number of senior citizens in Delhi is approximately between 15 to 25 lakhs, so it is an effective vote bank. Keeping the figures in mind, Arvind Kejriwal has announced a special health scheme for the elderly.
Kejriwal has announced the Sanjeevani Yojana. Under this, senior citizens of 60 years or more will be treated free of cost. The special thing is that all private and government hospitals will come under the purview of this scheme.
Apart from this, the income limit has also not been fixed, so people of every class will be able to take advantage of this scheme. No limit has been fixed for expenditure either. Let us tell you that under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, free treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh can be availed in a year.
