Elections 2024: Congress 13th Candidates List Released for Lok Sabha Elections, Manifesto Launch Scheduled for Tomorrow

Elections 2024, Congress Candidates 13th List: Congress has so far announced a total of 235 candidates. The party had earlier announced 232 candidates in 12 different lists.

Elections 2024 Congress Candidates 13th List:  Congress has released the 13th list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Three more candidates were announced through this list released on Thursday night (April 4, 2024). These three candidates have been fielded from three Lok Sabha constituencies of Gujarat (Surendranagar, Junagadh and Vadodara). The party has given tickets to Ritvik Bhai Makwana from Surendranagar, Hira Bhai Jotwa from Junagadh and Jaspal Singh Podhiyar from Vadodara. 

Congress has so far announced a total of 235 candidates. The party had earlier announced 232 candidates in 12 different lists, while the general elections for the 18th Lok Sabha in the country will begin from April 19. Voting will be held in six more phases on April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1 and counting of votes will be done on June 4, 2024.

Will Congress field candidates on the remaining seats in Jharkhand?

Congress will release the list of candidates for the remaining seats after the nomination process for the Lok Sabha elections in Jharkhand begins on April 18. The party has so far announced the names of candidates for three seats (Khunti, Lohardaga and Hazaribagh) out of the 14 seats in the state.

Kalicharan Munda from Khunti, Sukhdev Bhagat from Lohardaga and J.P. Patel, who joined Congress from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), have been given tickets from Hazaribagh seat. 

…then Congress’ election manifesto will come on this day

Congress will release the manifesto for the general elections on Friday (April 5, 2024). It will be based on five ‘justices’ and 25 ‘guarantees’. Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge and former President Rahul Gandhi will release it at the Congress headquarters. The next day, public meetings will be held in Jaipur and Hyderabad, in which top party leaders will participate.
