Elections 2024: Congress released the sixth list of five candidates for the Lok Sabha elections on Monday, in which the most prominent name is that of Prahlad Gunjal, who has been fielded against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla from Kota parliamentary seat of Rajasthan. Gunjal had recently left the Bharatiya Janata Party and joined the Congress.
The Congress has nominated Ramchandra Choudhary from Ajmer in Rajasthan, Sudarshan Rawat from Rajsamand, Damodar Gurjar from Bhilwara, Prahlad Gunjal from Kota and C. Robert Brut from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu.

Candidate was changed in Jaipur
Earlier on Sunday, Congress released the fifth list of three candidates in which the candidate was changed in Jaipur Lok Sabha constituency. Former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas was given the ticket in place of Sunil Sharma.
Congress has announced 190 candidates yet
Congress has so far announced 190 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. It had announced 39 candidates in the first list, 43 in the second list and 56 in the third list.
Elections Schedule for the 18th Lok Sabha
Elections for the 18th Lok Sabha will begin in the country from April 19. After this, voting will be held in six more phases on April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1. About 97 crore registered voters will be able to exercise their franchise at 10.5 lakh polling centers in 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. Counting of votes will take place on June 4.
