Rahul Gandhi Promise on Women Reservation: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Wednesday (March 13) that if the Congress party comes to power, women will be given reservation without survey. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave reservation to women with much fanfare in the Lok Sabha. But then it was said that reservation will be given after the survey and the survey will be done after 10 years. But as soon as the Congress government comes, we will give reservation without survey.
In fact, the Congress Party is continuously making efforts to woo half of the country’s population. The party believes that if it has to achieve electoral victory, it will have to strengthen its hold among women. This is the reason why Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge himself has announced ‘Women’s Justice’ guarantee on Wednesday. In the announcements made under this, it was said that women will be given half the share in government jobs. It has also been said that they will be given financial assistance.
