PM Modi on Kharge’s Statement on J&K: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday hit back at Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge’s comments on the removal of special status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution. During a program in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Congress President Kharge had said on the question of ending the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, “Arre bhai, what do you have to do with the people here?” Referring to Kharge’s comment, PM Modi said that I have asked the Congress President a question, I ask why does he think that the issue of Jammu and Kashmir is not relevant?

PM Modi said that the post of Congress national president is not a small post. He said in Rajasthan that what is the use of talking about (Article) 370? I feel ashamed to hear this. Is Jammu and Kashmir not a part of India?

But now the Congress President is saying what does it mean from one corner of the country to another? This is the language of the tukde-tukde gang. Can you forgive such people?” the Prime Minister asked the crowd, the crowd loudly replied, “No”.
