Swati Maliwal Latest News: Delhi Police took action on Thursday on the complaint of Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. An FIR has been registered against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s PM Bibhav Kumar. A case has been registered against him under sections 354, 509, 323 and 506 of the IPC. Swati Maliwal gave her written complaint to the police today, in which she said that Bibhav slapped me and also kicked me. He attacked my body.

According to Delhi Police sources, she will soon go to X Hospital for medical checkup. Let us tell you that on May 13, former Delhi Women’s Commission President Swati Maliwal had reached CM Arvind Kejriwal’s house in Civil Lines to meet him. She was waiting in the lobby of CM House. Then CM’s PM Bibhav Kumar reached there. He attacked Swati with kicks and punches. During this, he also hit the Rajya Sabha MP in the stomach.

In the present case, Swati Maliwal immediately informed the Delhi Police about the matter. Later, she herself reached the Civil Lines police station. She said that she would give a written complaint to the police later. Today, officers of the Special Cell of Delhi Police reached Swati Maliwal’s house. After questioning her for about five hours, the police gave her written statement. On the basis of which a case has been registered against Arvind Kejriwal’s PM Vibhav Kumar.

How much punishment under which section?

IPC-354: 

Under this section of the law, when any man attacks or uses criminal force on a woman or instigates her to do such an act with the intention of disrobing her, then this section is used. Under this, there is a provision of three to seven years of imprisonment.

IPC 509: 

Under this section of the law, action is taken for using wrong words or making wrong gestures with the intent to insult. There is a provision of punishment up to three years in this.

IPC Section 506: 

This section of the law deals with criminal intimidation and carries a punishment of up to two years.

IPC 323: 

This section of the law deals with assault and carries a punishment of up to one year.
