Special care has been taken even to small things in the construction of Ram temple. The original design of Ram Temple was prepared by the Sompura family of Ahmedabad in 1988. The Sompura family has been designing the temple for 15 generations. The family has also designed Bilra temples across the country.

This family rebuilt the Ram temple in the year 2020 by making some changes in the original design of the Ram temple. The main architects of the temple are Chandrakant Sompura and his two sons Nikhil Sompura and Ashish Sompura. The Sompura family named the Ram temple as ‘Nagra’. Special things about Ram Mandir

• The length of this grand temple being built in Ayodhya is 380 feet, width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet.
• This temple will be three storeyed and the height of each floor will be 20 feet.
• There will be a total of 392 pillars and 44 gates.
• The child form of Lord Shri Ram will be in the main sanctum sanctorum while Shri Ram Darbar will be on the first floor.
• There will be five pavilions in the temple which will include dance pavilion, color pavilion, assembly pavilion, prayer pavilion and kirtan pavilion. 
• Beautiful statues of Gods, Goddesses and Goddesses are carved in the pillars and walls of Ram Temple.
• There will be big walls around the temple.
• Temples of Sun God, Maa Bhagwati, Ganapati and Lord Shiva will be built on the four corners of these walls.
• Apart from this, temples of Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashishtha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Nishadraj, Mata Shabari and sage wife Devi Ahilya will also be built in the temple premises.
• The ancient temple of Lord Shiva on Navratna Kuber Tila in the south-western part of the Mandi complex has been renovated.
• The statue of Jatayu has also been installed here. The special thing is that no iron has been used in the construction of this grand temple.
